 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Members,

Happy 20th Anniversary to the IHSM! What a truly wonderful milestone in our history. This achievement would not have been possible without the vision and dedication of our founders, Marty Hardiman and Chris McEnerney. Their dream became a reality, and because of them, along with our charter members, we are proud to be an organization that celebrates all things Irish.

Our volunteers continue to give so generously of their time and energy, ensuring the smooth operation and success of our society. We are truly blessed to have so many individuals committed to preserving and celebrating our Irish culture.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 20th Anniversary celebration. It was especially meaningful to see our charter members reconnect once again. A heartfelt thank you as well to all who helped make the event so special—from the beautiful photo displays and committee showcases to the music, food, unveiling of our commemorative plaque, and the touching poem created in honor of this occasion.

The love and friendship that filled the clubhouse during the celebration were truly spectacular—and it is all because of you.

Here’s to many more years of friendship, heritage, and celebration together.

Warm regards,

Noeleen Nelson

IHSM President

March 10th Board Meeting

Oíche mhaith a gach duine, agus céad míle fáilte romhaibh.
Good evening everyone, and a hundred thousand welcomes.

What a busy month it has been. March truly was a marathon—but thanks to our incredible volunteers, the IHSM was able to celebrate not just Saint Patrick’s Day, but an entire week in its honor. So thank you all for your hard work and dedication.

Tonight, we start the nomination process for our 2026–2027 Board. Following these remarks, we will open the first phase of nominations, and then hold a second round just prior to adjournment.

Please remember: both the nominator and nominee must be present and in good standing.

As we start our focus on nominations, I’d like to briefly reflect on what it means to serve on the Board. Each member serves you—the membership—and works to support and celebrate our Irish culture. We listen, we plan, and we work together to continue growing and improving our Society. It is a commitment of time and effort, but one that is deeply meaningful.

Our mission remains clear: to bring people of Irish heritage and connection together, to promote education, culture, music, dance, and community, and to share that heritage with the wider community.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
Thank you all very much.

Noeleen Nelson
